Steve Costalas

Steve leads Gainwell’s legal, contracts, ethics and compliance, security, and government relations organizations, focusing on working with program teams, advising on contracts, and handling litigation, disputes, and government investigations. He ensures the company has appropriate policies and procedures for organizational and compliance issues.

Steve was CEO at HVH Precision Analytics, a healthcare data analytics company, where he significantly grew revenue, expanded offerings, and transitioned analytics to a SaaS platform. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and general counsel at Vencore, leading legal, ethics, corporate development, and other functions. He has also held roles at Dechert and Pharmacopeia, focusing on corporate acquisitions, equity investments, and complex collaborations.

Steve graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
