As of March 3, 2021
We have certified 17 states using the Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT) or Outcomes-based Certification pilot back to day one of operations.
Gainwell also has established standard practices for security and scanning which meet the CMS MECT criteria to be used across states.
Our West Virginia MMIS system was the first system in the country to be certified under the pilot MECT 2.0 process. Our Puerto Rico MMIS system was the first system in the country to be certified under the pilot Outcomes Based Certification process.
